Information we collect
We can collect your name, contact details, delivery address, order contents, payment status and references, correspondence, fraud-prevention data, IP address and basic security logs. We do not receive or store banking passwords, card PINs or account login details.
Why we use it and lawful bases
We use order and delivery information to perform the purchase contract; retain accounting and consumer records to meet legal obligations; and use proportionate security records for our legitimate interests in preventing fraud, protecting the store and resolving disputes. We do not use checkout information for unrelated marketing without a separate lawful basis.
Who receives information
Necessary information can be shared with Cloudflare, our payment provider, email provider, delivery carrier, accountants, professional advisers and public authorities where legally required. Each provider receives only the information needed for its role.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we rely on the safeguards used by the relevant provider and applicable data-protection law.
Retention
Order and transaction records are normally retained for up to seven years for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and legal-record purposes. Shorter-lived technical logs and abandoned-order records are removed or anonymised when no longer required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses of your information. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first using the details below so we can investigate.
Cookies and local storage
The storefront uses essential browser storage for functions such as the basket and order-status access. The private Store Manager uses a strictly necessary secure session cookie. We do not add advertising cookies in this build.
Privacy-preserving website analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate visits, popular pages, general referral sources, countries, device types and page performance. This analytics service does not use cookies or local storage and is not used to identify individual visitors or follow them across unrelated websites.
